Saturday, February 22 at 1 pm: “From Parlors to Protests: How Music Impacted the Women’s Suffrage Movement” for SEALHFAM regional conference in Dothan, Alabama.

Wednesday, March 4 at 7 pm: “Centennial of Suffrage” performance at the Lakewood Center for the Arts in Lake Oswego, Oregon. This performance is in conjunction with Oswego Heritage Council’s Chautauqua on First Wednesday. Doors are at 6:30pm, free admission. 

Friday, March 13 at 1:45 pm: “Good Roads and Great Songs: A Musical Journey Along the Lincoln Highway” for MOMCC Spring conference in Peoria, Illinois.

Tuesday, August 4 at 7pm: “Centennial of Suffrage” Livestream Performance! This free online concert was made possible through the generosity of the Friends of the Lake Oswego Public Library. This video is no longer available to the public, but visit my Patreon page to learn how you can access it, along with other exclusive content!

2019

Thursday, May 16 at 3:30 pm: Presenter for the Northwest Archivists Annual Conference “Singing the Past Back to Life: Researching the Songs and Styles of Early 20th Century America” in Bozeman, Montana – Must register for this event, click on the link above.  

Friday, May 17 at 6:30 pm: Performance at the historic Clark Chateau in Butte, Montana. Suggested donation is $10, and you can check out the Facebook event link here.

Saturday, August 10: “Songs of 1919” from 5-6pm Ft. Vancouver Artillery Barracks, Vancouver, WA

In conjunction with the Lower Columbia Veterans Coalition and the Vancouver Chautauqua, this unique performance was arranged specifically for this event. The program will contain the hits of the day and will also cover topics including WWI, Suffrage Movement, Prohibition, and for the first time in over a century I will perform “The Marching Song of the 318th Engineers” which was written by the wife of an officer stationed at Ft. Vancouver during the time of the First World War. Suggested $10 donation, or buy advance tickets online here.

Saturday, September 14: “Songs of World War One” (final performance) Fallon Theatre, Fallon, Nevada

In conjunction with the Lincoln Highway Association’s recreation of the 1919 Military Convoy and the Churchhill County Museum, I will be giving my final performance of the critically acclaimed “Songs of World War One” program for the convoy tour as well as the public.

Thursday, November 7 at 7 pm: “Centennial of Suffrage” (debut performance) Lackawanna Historical Society’s Annual Dinner, Scranton, Pennsylvania

My women’s suffrage program will debut months ahead of schedule for this fabulous event! It will be in Raddison which was Scranton’s old train station, please come and enjoy the show with some excellent food.

Saturday, November 9 at 12 pm: “Music for Veterans Day” Stourbridge Railroad Line, Honesdale, PA

In honor of Veteran’s Day, I’ll be walking from car to car singing on this historic train singing some of my favorite patriotic songs. Take a trip back in time with me and enjoy the sights, literally!

Saturday, November 10, 6-8:30 pm: Commemorating the War to End All Wars 1918: Performance of my World War One program at the Idaho State Museum in Boise. I’ll be making my Idaho debut at this event!

Enjoy an evening hosted by the Idaho Legal History Society and the Idaho State Historical Society commemorating the 100th Anniversary of Armistice Day. Performances by World War I Performer Cecelia Otto of An American Songline, World War I Exhibits, and speakers including author Eve Chandler and era related food.

Sunday, November 11, 10-11:00 am: World War One Memorial Dedication Ceremony in Boise with the DAR Pioneer chapter. I was honored to contribute two songs to this ceremony. There was no WWI memorial in Boise prior to this event, and it was very moving.

Saturday, November 17, 9 am-4 pm: Appearance at Evergreen High School (EHS), Vancouver Washington. Come get your holiday shopping done at the EHS Band, Colorguard, and Orchestra annual holiday bazaar! All items are homemade or produced by local artisans. I’ll be selling my books and CDs for a special holiday price, so come say hi and support a good cause!

Thursday, July 7 at 7pm: Performance at the Churchill County Museum in Fallon Nevada. I really enjoyed my time in Fallon three years ago on my inaugural tour (which was mentioned in the book), and I’m looking forward to going back! The concert is free, and I’ll be selling and autographing books and CDs. Come check out all that the museum has to offer!

Tuesday, July 12 at 12pm: Performance in Murray City, Utah. This performance is part of their Arts in the Park Series, and the concert will be held at Murray Park Pavilion #5. Wednesday, July 13th at 11:30am: Speaking engagement in Salt Lake City, Utah (must register for this event). I’ll be speaking for the eWomen Network Salt Lake City Chapter about crowdfunding, and I’d love to share my tips with you. For more information and to register, visit this link.

Saturday, August 20 and Sunday, August 21: Three performances at the Heritage Village in East Grand Forks, Minnesota for their annual Heritage Days Festival. Performance times: Saturday, August 20th at 12 PM, and 3 PM, and Sunday August 21st at 11 AM.

Wednesday, June 17: Speaking at eWomen Network dinner in Cincinnati, OH at 7pm. The title of my presentation is, “Crowdfunding – Tips and Tricks to Help You Meet your Campaign Goals“. Books and CD’s will be for sale.

Friday, June 19: Brookdale in Oak Park, Illinois at 1pm. Admission is free, and I’ll be performing in the Oak Park room.

Wednesday, June 24: Ypsilanti Automotive Heritage Museum in Ypsilanti, Michigan, at 7:30pm. In conjunction with the annual Lincoln Highway Conference, the museum will be open for this evening from 7-9pm for a free will donation.

Thursday, July 16: Ashland, OH Chautauqua. at 7pm. This Lincoln Highway City is celebrating their 200th anniversary, so come experience their history with me.

Friday, July 17: Hayesville Opera House in Hayesville, OH at 5pm. We’ll be doing special program of songs this evening, and the President of the Opera House will be talking about the history of the Opera House. People will also be allowed to tour the facility.

Thursday, July 23: Fort Cody Music Series, 221 Halligan Drive, North Platte, NE at 7pm. Happy to make my 2nd appearance in North Platte – this is going to be a fun show!

Saturday, July 25: United Church of Christ, 6310 West 29th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado at 7pm. This church is a special place for me, so if you are in the Denver Metro area please join me!

Sunday, August 2: Mini-concert at La Cour Bistro & Art Bar in Denver, Colorado from 7-10pm. Tonight’s concert will feature the “Best of Broadway” with multiple vocalists. I’ll be performing in the first hour (so come early!), and will have American Songline books, CDs and merchandise available for purchase.

Wednesday, October 14: Performance at the Lake Oswego Public Library (706 Fourth Street) in Lake Oswego, Oregon from 1-2pm. This is my first official performance in the Pacific Northwest as part of the library’s Second Wednesday Performing Arts Series, come and enjoy a lovely afternoon of hearing America’s history through song – all free of charge.

Wednesday, November 4: Performance and presentation for the Oswego Heritage Council’s “First Wednesday” series at 398 10th Street in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Doors to the Heritage House open at 6:30pm and light refreshments are provided with the presentation beginning at 7pm. Free admission.

Friday, November 13: Performance at the Mercury Cafe in Denver, CO at 7:30pm. This is my second performance there, and they were featured in the American Songline book I published this year. $10 cover, and a portion of the proceeds benefit Cabaret Otaku, Denver’s First Alternative Opera Company.

Sunday, December 6 from Noon – 4pm. I am honored to be a part of the Oregon Historical Society’s 48th annual Holiday Cheer Event in Portland, Oregon! As a newly published author, I’ll be selling and signing my American Songline books and CDs in full costume. Admission is free, so please stop by and say hi!


2014

Saturday, October 18: Circa 1910: Sights, Sounds and Sweets of the JMS Building’s Golden Age, South Bend, IN. On this day, I gave talks about the Lincoln Highway as well as vaudeville, and I performed a mini-concert at the end of day. You can read more about it in this article.

Overall, I took some time off the road and I worked hard on my CD and book this year! See the final products on my Store page.
